Amanda Massie, Senior Curator of New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, examines the way women in New York State participated in the early preservation of historic sites at the end of the 19th century and into the early 20th century helping save many of our historic places. Before they even had the right to vote women were advocating and organizing to preserve American’s past. Please register online at SSPL.org.
