Preparing for Lobby Day:

On the evening of May 2nd, we will be hosting a Pre-Lobby Day prep call from 4:30pm-6:00pm.

On this call we will go over the agenda for May 6th, I will touch on the basics of lobbying, and we will hear from our issue specialists who will highlight key talking points for bills in their issue areas. Tomorrow, you will all receive a copy of the post-budget lobby packet, which will include talking points and asks for each bill. Don't worry if you can't make this meeting! It will be recorded and sent out to all Lobby Day attendees. 

In collaboration with the BIPOC Democracy Table we have also set up a number of meetings with representatives that will focus on democracy/election bills. Members who do not have their own meetings set up (or anyone who is interested!) will be put into advocacy teams to lobby on election issues.
