Shore Stories (Film Screening) - Seismic Testing and Offshore Drilling

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management is proposing to expand offshore oil and gas drilling throughout the Eastern Seaboard.

As Project Pericles Debating for Democracy award recipients, Skidmore students Isaac Bardin ('20) and Ted Randell ('19) will be hosting a documentary film screening of Shore Stories (35 minutes), co-sponsored by the Environmental Action Club, Environmental Studies and Sciences Program, and generously provided by Oceana. This 35 minute film and event features a documentary that tells the story of six different communities and individuals that have been negatively affected by offshore oil and gas drilling. We will provide action alert postcards to be mailed to elected officials, so you will have the opportunity to share your perspectives on this is monumental issue.
