Voting is about to get easier for New Yorkers. One of the key reforms adopted this year by the Legislature is the provision for early voting across the state from October 26-November 3, 2019. The League of Women Voters of New York State just went live with a new Early Voting Website chock full of answers to your questions about early voting.

On Monday the legislature passed a package of reforms that included Early voting, Same day voter registration, No-excuse absentee voting, Primary Consolidation, Pre-registration for 16 and 17 year olds, State-wide voter registration transfer, and Closure of the LLC loophole
