Throughout history, music has inspired sorrow, outrage, and hatred, as well as love, courage, unity, and celebration. OLF’s new monthly Kindred Spirits Music Series invites the community to gather on the “last Monday” of the month to share, listen, and sing music that continues to weave us together. Each month’s “themed” session includes music to reflect on, songs performed by regional musicians, and “sing-alongs” of familiar pieces that have helped us “overcome” as well as remember the JOY of simply being.
