The Packaging Reduction and Recycling Infrastructure Act (PRRIA) will phase out the largest source of plastic pollution: non-recyclable single-use packaging. It also bans toxic chemicals from packaging, makes big companies pay to clean up their trash, mandates equity in recycling access, protects environmental justice communities, and promotes green jobs.
