Observer Corps
The Observer Corps is a group of volunteers sponsored by the League of Women Voters who regularly attend Board of Supervisor meetings as well as County committee meetings to monitor the legislative process in Saratoga County.
The Corps has been in existence for over five years, successfully advocating for such reforms as the publication of agendas in advance of scheduled meetings, prompt posting of minutes after committee meetings, and compliance with the Open Meetings Law. Approximately ten League members participate in Corps activities.
Do you have an hour a month to contribute? Join the observer corps! Volunteers attend one or more of the dozen county supervisor committee meetings, most of which meet monthly. Read more about the work of this dedicated group of individuals.
Report Forms for Observers
Observer Corps members may download a report form in Word format to record their observations of meetings of the County Board of Supervisors and its committees, including 12 standing committees and 4 ad hoc committees.
